The Canari Blog

We make clothes. Good, tight, stretchy clothes. They are fun and colorful. Our clothes work best on bikes, but some of us like to wear them when bowling, shopping at the street fair or just ordering some ice creme. The main point is we make clothes. Good clothes.

Your Funniest Cycling Story

OK - we are on the hunt for a great cycling-related story that will make us laugh. Can't really tell you why we want this story - but suffice to say that we will be keeping the winner's ramblings locked away with our nuclear passcodes.

OH - the winner will receive a 6-pack of Arrogant Bastart Ale. So send em' in!

Quick Release

The correct term should in fact be "leg tearing" not leg ripping. Ripping would imply that the leg has been yanked completely off in a quick and "almost" painles manner. What happens on the daily lunch ride is more akin to "tearing" as it happens slowly and if all goes well, quite painfully indeed. This has been done in a few different varities from long fast flat sections of road, to long grinding back breaking climbs. The result is usually the same, with at least on of "the guys" wimpering about working too much or out too late... At least we look good in our custom team kits though... Thanks Shaun!!!!

Leg ripping

If you you are not sure what this term means, ask Shaun what he does to Dan on there daily lunch ride. My legs were tore off in the first 2 miles of our lunch ride today.
I need more fitness !!!!

Thats what I get for driving 600 miles this week. I need to learn how not to bite at the first signs of an attack. I will keep you all updated on the trash talking around the office because it makes for a painful ride.

This kind of training only makes you stronger. Along with some good healthy trash talking you can take it outside as they say.. Stay tuned for more !!
